AFRICA YOUTH TRUST (AYT)

Project Title: Youth Action against Corruption | Grant Type: Large Democracy and Governance | Grant Period: 12 Months           

Project Description:  Africa Youth Trust (AYT) is an initiative of the African Youth Parliament in collaboration with other youth groups and was created specifically to spearhead a youth-led development model in Kenya with a view to replication in other African countries. AYT’s 12 month project will design a guide to aid youth to understand the different facets of corruption and to develop a toolkit for action to be used in the fight against corruption to strengthen good governance. AYT will champion the formation of a network of youth working to fight corruption in Kenya. The network’s aim will be to support local action, create knowledge networks and awareness and input into the ongoing fight against corruption
